Cesar Chavez Bronze Bust Edition with White House Provenance Now Available

Paul Suarez, the renowned artist behind the life-size Cesar E. Chavez bronze monument at Fresno State University, is pleased to announce the limited availability of his Cesar Chavez bronze bust edition. This edition of 25 gained national media attention when the current Biden administration requested a bust from the series for display in the Oval Office of the White House.

In an inspiring union of art and history, Artist Paul Suarez's bronze bust of civil rights leader Cesar E. Chavez thus found a place of honor in the current Oval Office of The White House, centered on the Resolute Desk, underscoring the administration's commitment to recognizing champions of history.

In 1996, Fresno State University's Peace Garden became the site for unveiling the nation's inaugural life-size bronze monument of Cesar E. Chavez. The bronze bust edition, crafted directly from Suarez's monumental work still standing in the Peace Garden, offers individuals the unique opportunity to "hold a piece of the monument” because the bust originated from the bronze monument itself. Embodying Chavez's legacy with remarkable detail and expressive depth, several busts in the edition have been purchased by attorneys, an elementary school, a public library, and other collectors.

"It is an incredible honor to have my work representing such an iconic figure in the highest office of the land," said Paul Suarez. "This bronze bust edition not only celebrates Chavez's legacy but also provides an opportunity for collectors and admirers to own a piece of history."

With only a few busts remaining from the original edition, collectors and institutions have a rare opportunity to acquire these exceptional pieces of art. Pricing for the Cesar Chavez bronze busts begins at $15,000 and will increase as supply dwindles. Certificates of authenticity come with each bronze until the limited edition of 25 is filled.

Interested collectors and institutions are encouraged to inquire about availability and pricing by contacting Paul Suarez at paul@studiosuarez.com directly.
