It was in March end that our country decided it was time to do a complete lock down across the country. It started as a welcome break from my hectic schedule of doing business in service industry where you are always on your feet as the profession demands. With the complete closure initially it was a really some enjoyable time as the period of the closure was only 21 days. But then after that we realized that the Covid pandemic is not going to get resolved soon as the lock down was extended multiple times.

In this back drop I was in a fix as there was nothing to do other than spending time with my family and watch the TV or browse the various social media that is available. As we are into a travel business we had a few websites which we used for promoting our business. I started working on them and tried to understand how to use them effectively. In my search I browsed thousands of websites pertaining to my interest area, and studied about how a great content is written, how structured categorized contents help the readers easily understand and find out information required. How internal linking of web pages are important for a visitor to find out useful resources and take actions. This in turn helps in your website rank higher and generate business. Other important aspects of a good website good white hat search engine optimization practices like back linking and social media presence. We created or improved on our three websites during this period. This includes one on the Sundarban National Park with Information of Kolkata, one that is on our hotel properties in Darjeeling and Sikkim and the last one is the one where we detailed down our learning about Web Designing and SEO Strategy, Vuvuta Digital Solution and how we can help other business with our knowledge.
